We are seeking an accomplished senior engineer to architect and build the core infrastructure of our multi-tenant SaaS platform. This role demands expertise in designing scalable backend systems and creating robust integrations with various third-party services and APIs.Key Responsibilities
  • Backend Development:
    • Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for internal and external consumption.
    • Build robust webhook handlers for real-time event processing.
    • Develop authentication and authorization systems (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys).
  • System Architecture & Design:
    • Architect scalable microservices supporting a multi-tenant SaaS architecture.
    • Design event-driven systems using message queues for asynchronous processing.
    • Design systems capable of handling 10,000+ concurrent requests.
    • Build comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
  • Collaboration & Leadership:
    • Collaborate with frontend teams to design optimal API contracts.
    • Mentor junior developers on backend best practices.

This role requires strong integration expertise and proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and asynchronous programming patterns. Experience with database management, caching strategies, and high-volume transactions is also essential. Additionally, expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, containerization with Docker, and CI/CD pipelines is necessary. The ideal candidate will possess strong testing practices and adhere to code quality standards.
