Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Accounting team at Fluence. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of general ledger accounting, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures, and recommend improvements tailored to the Fluence organization.
  • Coordinate and assist with external audits, providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate and Regional Accounting teams to streamline accounting processes, implement new systems and technologies, and ensure that financial practices align with industry best practices.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis as requested by senior management.
  • Support the Corporate Accounting team in continuous process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field and MBA.
  • Chartered Accountant or Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant.
  • 3-5 years of experience in general accounting areas.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Extensive experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
