Digital Excellence Leader

Job Description

As an Excellence Manager, you will drive operational excellence across digital initiatives by overseeing governance, resource management, planning and budgeting, digital project tracking, financial oversight, and product governance.

This role ensures alignment with strategic objectives, compliance with internal processes, and efficient execution of digital programs & products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing governance frameworks for digital operations, establishing structured gates and controls to validate project readiness, compliance, and value delivery, and continuously improving operational workflows based on data insights and stakeholder feedback.

Data-Driven KPI Tracking & Reporting

The ideal candidate will build and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs across digital initiatives using tools like Power BI, Airtable, and Excel, integrate and analyze data from multiple sources (e.g., Airtable bases, Excel files, SharePoint lists) to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities, and ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting systems.

Resource Planning & Optimization

The successful candidate will lead resource planning across digital programs, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and delivery timelines, analyze capacity, utilization, and skillsets to optimize team performance and reduce bottlenecks, develop models and dashboards to forecast resource needs and track allocation efficiency, and collaborate with functional leads to proactively address gaps and reallocate resources as needed.

Financial Management

The ideal candidate will support budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization through data-driven insights, monitor actual vs. forecasted spend and provide variance analysis, and ensure financial compliance and accountability across digital initiatives.

Digital Project Oversight

The successful candidate will implement tools and processes for tracking project progress, milestone delivery, and performance metrics, identify risks and mitigation strategies using predictive analytics and historical data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and transparency.

Product Governance

The ideal candidate will define standards for digital product lifecycle management, support product teams in aligning with governance, compliance, and data quality requirements, and facilitate reviews and approvals for new and existing digital products.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Data Science, or related field MBA or equivalent preferred, 7+ years of experience in digital operations, data governance, or program management, strong understanding of data relationships, normalization, and reporting best practices, experience with Airtable, Excel, Power BI, and SharePoint, ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders, proven experience in process design, resource planning, and data modeling, strong analytical skills with the ability to work across large, complex datasets from Airtable bases, Excel, Power BI and other sources, proficiency in PPM & product development tools (like Clarity , SPM, Aha, Azure Devops), experience in digital operations, governance, and program management, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and ability to lead initiatives, drive process improvements, and support organizational change.
