Process Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Design Engineer with expertise in the design, development, and optimization of column internals.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in process design, performance evaluation, and customer support to ensure high-efficiency solutions for clients.

Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize column internals to improve mass transfer and separation processes.

• Conduct process simulations and calculations for distillation, absorption, and stripping applications.

• Work closely with mechanical and production teams to ensure the feasibility and manufacturing compatibility of internals.

• Perform hydraulic and efficiency calculations to recommend suitable internals for specific process requirements.

• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to provide technical support and client consultations.

• Evaluate and troubleshoot operational issues in installed column internals to enhance performance.

• Prepare technical reports, datasheets, and proposals for clients.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.

• 2-5 years of experience in process design, mass transfer, or column internals manufacturing.

• Strong understanding of distillation, absorption, extraction, and phase separation principles.

• Knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat & mass transfer, thermodynamics, and pressure drop calculations.

• Experience with technical drawings and CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is a plus.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and clients.
