Software Development Lead

  • We are seeking an experienced software development lead to join our team.

About the Role

This is a senior position that requires a deep understanding of software development principles, as well as the ability to motivate and guide a team of developers.

The role involves overseeing the development lifecycle, from design through deployment, and ensuring that all software meets high standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement software architecture that is scalable, maintainable, and efficient.
  • Take ownership of product development, from conceptualization to deployment.
  • Implement Test-Driven Development practices to ensure high-quality code.
  • Buid reusable, modular code and libraries to promote efficiency and consistency.
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance, speed, and scalability.
  • Enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong programming foundation in Python, including debugging and performance analysis.
  • Experience in developing web applications and APIs using Django or Flask.
  • Expertise in secure software development and handling sensitive data.
  • In-depth knowledge of Source Code Repository and experience working with Git.
  • Hands-on experience in DB design & Architecture with focus on performance.
  • Knowledge of caching techniques and utilities like Memcache / Redis.
  • Experience working on Apache, Nginx, or any other web/app server.
  • Experience in containerization tool -Docker.
  • Hands-on experience in enterprise level deployment and scaling.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to effectively solve complex problems.
