Loan Operations Team Lead

This is a pivotal leadership position within our Loan Operations division, responsible for overseeing and managing end-to-end loan processing for India branches and servicing activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing loan operations, with experience in stakeholder management, governance, and process improvements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for directing day-to-day operations, driving process enhancements, and delivering high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders. As a people leader, you will focus on developing, mentoring, and managing a high-performance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Direct, mentor, and develop a high-performing loan operations team, ensuring effective workload distribution, performance management, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to more junior members of the team, assisting in their training and development to ensure a high level of job knowledge.
- Take initiatives to guide and train new joiners and junior staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Additional responsibilities include performing checks on operational issues, reconciling daily pending transactions, and supporting the Head of Department in determining the level of support on new product offerings.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience in managing loan operations.
- Strong PC skills (MS Office) and extensive experience in loan products, static data maintenance, and customer data management.
- Understanding of various system applications used for lending and hands-on experience in managing stakeholders, governance, and toll gates.
- Flexible working hours and exposure to India-related regulatory guidelines and financial regulations.
- Graduate or postgraduate degree and good interpersonal skills to deal courteously and effectively with others.
