Memory Layout Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Memory Layout Engineer to lead our team in the design of custom memories, including SRAM and Register Files. The successful candidate will work closely with circuit designers to translate schematics into optimized layouts.

  • Liaise with circuit designers to understand schematics and create optimized layouts using advanced process nodes.
  • Design and develop custom memory layouts that meet performance and power requirements.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure compliance with physical verification checks.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in scripting languages (SKILL, Python, or TCL).
  • Contribute to the development of high-performance and low-power memory layout optimization techniques.

Key Requirements:

  • Masters/Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in memory layout design.
  • Proven track record of delivering custom memory designs on time.
  • Strong understanding of floor-planning, placement, matching, routing, and parasitics.
