Job Overview:

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled fund accountant to take on the challenge of managing monthly financial closes, preparing management reports, and ensuring compliance with GAAP regulations for private equity and credit funds.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing full-cycle accounting processes in QuickBooks or similar software
  • Tracking interest income across structured deals and recording fee income
  • Preparing investor-ready financial statements and management reports
  • Supporting CPAs on tax preparation, filings, and fund administration
  • Reviewing financials from portfolio companies and flagging variances
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of direct fund accounting experience in private equity, private debt, or fund administration
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and multi-entity consolidations
  • Background working with companies in the $10M-$100M revenue range
  • Ability to manage both fund-level and portfolio-level reporting
  • CPA certification preferred
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks or other accounting software
