SAP Financial Accounting Consultant Role Overview

Job Summary:

This position is for an experienced SAP Financial Accounting Consultant to implement and support SAP FI modules. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the key integration points between SAP modules, including GL, AR, AP, Bank Accounting, AA, Taxes, and Closing.

A successful consultant in this role will be responsible for defining detailed blueprints for development requirements, providing business and functional expertise for SAP FI module primarily, and providing technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a multi-module, multi-country full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.
  • Designing and configuring FI modules knowledge of the key integration points between other SAP modules.
  • Completion of end-to-end FI functionality including configuration of functionalities in GL, AR, AP, Bank Accounting, AA, Taxes, Closing.
  • Integration with CO, MM, SD, PP, and PS.
Requirements:
  • Define detailed blueprint for development requirements.
  • Provide business and functional expertise for SAP FI module primarily.
  • Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams.
  • Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers' business needs.
  • Assess impact and gaps in the current business processes and configuration for the SAP module and provide alternatives and recommendations on the delta design.
