Job Summary

Emerson is seeking a skilled Senior Analytical Engineer to design and develop technical solutions for customer applications. Based in India, this role will involve creating detailed designs for sample handling systems, support structures, power distribution, signal distribution, gas distribution, and interconnecting devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver technically complete designs on time, meeting Emerson quality standards
  • Create electronic drafting files of P&ID drawings, structural arrangement drawings, electrical diagrams, fabrication drawings, and other required documents
  • Specify all purchased and fabricated components required to build solutions, including analyzers, and work closely with vendors and procurement teams
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide services that exceed their expectations
  • Effectively communicate with customers and suppliers on technical matters, including customer drawing comments and feedback
  • Perform Pre-FAT and FAT and SAT with customer/site travel involved

Requirements:

  • Experience in Instrumentation and Process Engineering
  • Knowledge of various analyzers and associated components like samplers and dryers
  • Understanding of hazardous area classification and applications for international-based installations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation/Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 4 to 8 years of relevant experience
