About Our Team:

NMIMS is seeking a highly skilled Admissions Coordinator to join our team.

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for student admissions, coordination of application processing, admissions support services for all programs, and coordination with the sales front end to ensure a smooth admission process.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assess applications based on predetermined criteria, such as academic qualifications, work experience, potential, or other relevant factors for the NCDOE's programs.
  2. Determine the eligibility of applicants and make recommendations for acceptance or rejection to ensure that only eligible candidates are admitted to the programs.
  3. Coordinate with LC's & IC's for all Admissions related concerns. Act as a link between Sales and Centralized Admission for resolving all issues of students relating to admission.
  4. Collaborate with academic departments, faculty, and staff to ensure smooth coordination between admissions and other institutional processes.
  5. Serve as a point of contact for prospective students, parents, and agents, providing information about admission requirements, programs, etc. Answer inquiries, address concerns, and guide applicants through the admission process.
  6. Coordinate with centers relating to admission and ensure timely submission of documents received at the center to the Admission Department.
  7. Process all validity extension cases, changes done from Admission Department w.r.t. Program changes, center changes, student data changes.
  8. Communicate with applicants regarding their application status, admission decisions, and any additional steps or requirements they need to fulfill.
  9. Conduct follow-up activities to collect missing documents or information, if necessary.
  10. Coordinate activities related to enrollment, such as registration, orientation, fee payment, and providing necessary information.
  11. Ensure adherence to organizational policies, legal regulations, and accreditation standards related to admissions.
  12. Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in admission requirements or procedures.
  13. Uphold ethical standards in all aspects of the admission process, ensuring fairness, transparency, and equal opportunity for all applicants.
  14. Maintain accurate records and databases of applicants, admission statistics, and enrollment data.
  15. Generate and submit reports on admission trends, applicant demographics, and other relevant metrics to inform strategic decision-making.

Requirements- Education & Work Experience:

  • Graduate in Business Administration, Communication, Marketing, Education, or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in coordination, handling, organizing, and conducting activities in general administration, admission process in the education sector
  • Familiarity with admissions processes, educational systems, and relevant regulations is desirable
