Job Title:

Advanced Security Analyst and IT Governance Expert



Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced security professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in advancing our threat detection capabilities, incident response, and overall security posture.



Responsibilities:
  1. Lead advanced threat detection and response efforts using EDR tools.
  2. Investigate and analyze sophisticated security alerts and events to determine root cause, scope, and impact of security incidents.
  3. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior analysts, assisting with incident investigations, analysis, and resolution.
  4. Develop and implement advanced detection and response strategies using Carbon Black EDR to enhance our overall security posture.
  5. Lead incident response efforts, including coordination with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  6. Conduct in-depth analysis of endpoint data and logs to identify indicators of compromise (IOCs) and advanced attack techniques.
  7. Collaborate with threat intelligence teams to stay updated on emerging threats and tactics used by threat actors.
  8. Develop and maintain security playbooks, procedures, and response plans for incident response and threat hunting.
  9. Assist in the tuning and optimization of Carbon Black EDR policies, SIEM rules, and custom queries to improve detection efficacy.
  10. Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in endpoint security and threat detection.
  11. Provide regular reports and updates on security incident trends, analysis findings, and mitigation efforts to stakeholders.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hand-on experience with MS Defender for 5+ years in a cyber security department.
  • Technical skills: MS Defender, EDR Operations, SIEM, SOAR, AZURE, Carbon Black.
