Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced programmer to join our team as a Principal Software Developer.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in programming languages such as R and SQL, with a strong focus on database management and analysis. A background in statistics and mathematics is also essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement complex software solutions using R and SQL programming languages.
  • Design and implement efficient databases for large-scale data analysis.
  • Work closely with internal teams to develop innovative solutions to complex business problems.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
  2. Minimum 7-8 years of experience in SAS statistical programming.
  3. Expertise in advanced statistical methods such as survival and regression.
  4. Experience working with real-world healthcare claims and EHR data.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Computer Science or related field.
  • Training or experience using the OMOP common data model.
  • Proficiency in Python, Databricks or other cloud-based software.
