Design Leadership Position

This role involves overseeing multiple design studios and teams, responsible for driving design quality, craft, and practice. The ideal candidate will be a true design practitioner with experience and maturity but not losing touch with hands-on design.

  • Drive continuous improvement of design competency among team members.
  • Evolving service offerings and value propositions to clients by developing new models for designing closer with clients and technology teams.
  • Provide strategic design thought leadership to the organisation through publishing and speaking at internal and external events.
  • Guide and direct strategy approach and concept creation for proposals, defining storyline for pitches and presentations.
  • Cultivate relationships with new and existing clients to apply strategic thinking and creative craft to solve challenges.

The successful candidate should have:

  • 15+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • 7+ years leadership management experience of teams of 50+ designers.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience driving user-centered design processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading scale of design operation from India including growing team size and complexity of engagements.
  • Driving design quality and practice while setting up India studios as true peers in quality of outcomes.
  • Providing directional oversight of individual project teams work and assuming overall accountability for it.
