Strategic Financial Planning Leader

We are seeking a seasoned financial planning and analysis leader to drive business insight and strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to guide our FP&A team in delivering comprehensive insights and actionable recommendations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading planning and budgeting cycles, supervising risks, opportunities, and communicating analysis to leadership while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. They will also be accountable for coordinating forecasting, developing accurate cash flow, P&L, and balance sheet forecasts across various cycles.

  • Lead Planning and Budgeting Cycles: Drive effective planning and budgeting processes to ensure seamless alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate Forecasting: Develop and maintain comprehensive forecasting models to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Analyse Group Spend: Identify areas of optimisation and provide actionable recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Business Partnering: Foster strong relationships with global teams, driving action and improvement through data-driven insights.
  • Challenge Spend and Ensure Cost Alignment: Recommend improvements, support arguments for capital projects, and analyse outcomes.

  • Proven Business Acumen: Demonstrate ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders in global organisations.
  • Independent and Detail-Focused: Possess strong Excel and analytical skills, comfortable working in ambiguity.
  • Improving Planning and Reporting Processes: Experience in creating or enhancing planning and reporting processes.
  • Organized and Deadline-Driven: Strong communicator, able to build relationships across finance and non-finance teams.
