Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to administer and process employee payroll, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements and statutory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal company policies. They will also be proficient in accounting software and possess excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage employee payroll, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements and statutory compliance.
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and audits.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong understanding of Indian tax laws, GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance.
  • Proficient in accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
