Job Title: Project Coordinator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of the project management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Deputy Project Manager in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage single projects with high volumes, exceeding 500 crores in value.
  • Oversee entire projects with thorough knowledge of tender clauses, billing, department correspondence, and claims.
  • Solve complex issues such as forest permissions, highway permissions, and local bodies permissions.
  • Apply knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Develop detailed project plans considering timelines, resource allocation, and cost estimates.
  • Maintain control over project progress by making necessary adjustments to meet objectives.
  • Create a collaborative and high-performance working environment.
  • Manage budgets effectively, controlling costs and achieving targeted margins.
  • Assess project expenditure approvals considering their financial implications on project costs.
  • Implement quality control measures, safety rules, and regulations.
  • Negotiate with contractors, suppliers, and other vendors.
  • Plan resources, manpower, and materials to achieve budgeted/planned performance.
  • Apply accounting principles, financial aspects, risk management, and strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or MBA-Project/Construction/Finance.
  • A minimum of 9-12 years of experience in irrigation/water supply projects is mandatory.
