Renewable Energy Project Lead

We are seeking a seasoned project manager to spearhead and oversee the successful execution of large-scale solar power projects. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing stakeholders, cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute detailed project plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Create project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and project monitoring mechanisms.

Project Execution & Monitoring

  • Oversight of end-to-end project execution from initiation to commissioning.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to scope, cost, and timelines.
  • Maintaining daily site progress, coordinating with site engineers and contractors.
  • Implementing corrective actions in case of deviations or delays.

Engineering & Technical Oversight

  • Review and validation of engineering designs, layouts, and technical specifications.
  • Ensuring compliance with electrical, civil, and mechanical design standards.
  • Providing technical guidance to engineering and site teams.
  • Smooth integration of solar systems with grid/BESS.

Stakeholder & Team Management

  • Leading project teams, providing guidance, motivation, and performance management.
  • Coordination with clients, consultants, government bodies, and internal stakeholders.
  • Managing contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for timely delivery of services and materials.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensuring adherence to EHS standards at site.
  • Conducting quality audits and inspections at various project stages.
  • Ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance.
  • Implementing ISO and industry best practices in project execution.

Project Closure & Handover

  • Supervising testing, commissioning, and performance trials.
  • Ensuring proper documentation, certifications, and statutory approvals.
  • Preparing detailed project closure reports and lessons-learned documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Energy or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of experience in managing large-scale solar EPC/utility/C&I projects.
  • Proven track record of handling MW-scale solar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, project execution methodologies, and renewable energy regulations.
  • Experience in contract management, procurement, and vendor management.
