Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that meet our organization's standards.
This includes:
- Designing and developing automated regression suites and test harnesses
- Selecting and identifying areas for automation and designing test automation strategies
- Creating tools and frameworks with quality code to simplify testing scenarios
The ideal candidate will have experience with Python programming language, SOAP and REST services, SOA architecture, and distributed source control systems such as Git.
In addition, they will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Software testing experience in all phases of testing, including test planning, execution, and closure
- Excellent understanding of QA and testing methodologies and best practices
- 6+ years of experience as an Automation QA Tester
- Proficiency in Python programming language
- Experience working with SOAP and REST services and understanding of SOA architecture
- Experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks
- Experience using SQL to query databases
- Exposure to distributed source control systems such as Git
- Experience with test data management techniques
- Experience with change management and defect tracking tools
- Strong English proficiency level (B2) is required
