Advanced Telemetry Solutions Developer

The ideal candidate will provide technical expertise to support the development of application code using OpenTelemetry.
They will work with cross-functional teams to ensure the instrumentation of application code and infrastructure for observability is implemented effectively.
The successful applicant should have in-depth knowledge of OpenTelemetry, including experience with OTLP protocol, OpenTelemetry Semantic Conventions, OpenTelemetry Collector, and OpenTelemetry Java Agent.
They should also possess hands-on ability to instrument Java code using the OpenTelemetry API and OpenTelemetry Java SDK, and a solid understanding of AWS services and their role in modern application deployment.
In addition, they should have proficiency in Linux, including common commands and troubleshooting, and at least 7 years of development experience in Java (Python experience is also acceptable).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with development teams and other stakeholders.
- In-depth understanding of software architecture principles, including monolithic and microservices architectures.
