Lead System Engineer Position

We are seeking a Lead System Engineer with expertise in Unix administration, scripting, and virtualization.

  • Key qualifications for this role include:
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in Unix Servers operating system Administration, deploying, managing large Unix server infrastructure.
  • Excellent knowledge of Unix, Linux, Red Hat Linux 7/8/9 is required.
  • Good to have knowledge and experience in clustering.

As a Lead System Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Unix-based infrastructure. You will work closely with our development team to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and systems.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Designing, implementing, and maintaining high availability Unix servers and applications.
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  3. Developing and implementing technical strategies to improve overall system performance and efficiency.

Requirements include:

  • Strong understanding of Unix systems, including Red Hat Linux.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies, such as VMware or VirtualBox.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Certifications in Unix administration or related fields.
  • Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker.
