Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Job

We are seeking an experienced QA engineer to oversee quality assurance and software quality.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement quality strategies, testing processes, and automation frameworks that deliver reliable and scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure software quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects, and provide feedback on product improvements.
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks using tools like Selenium or similar technologies.
  • Work closely with product managers to understand product requirements and create test plans accordingly.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and suggest new automation opportunities.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior QA role.
  • Strong technical expertise in QA methodologies, test planning, and building automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages like Python or Java.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA and test management platforms like TestRail.
  • Practical experience with CI/CD tools, e.g., Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD, to integrate testing into deployment pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with cloud testing platforms.
  • Knowledge of Agile principles and experience participating in sprint ceremonies.
  • Exposure to performance testing tools.
  • ISTQB certification or similar QA/Testing certifications.
