Job Title

Key Responsibilities:

The Software Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring software quality by performing various types of testing, including integration testing, system interface testing and functional testing. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement SQA testing strategies.

Primary Duties:

  • Perform end-to-end metrology solution workflow from operating optical metrology tools in acquiring measure data to producing thin film/OCD metrology solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with product, hardware, software and characterization teams to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Plan, coordinate and execute testing activities to meet product release schedules and requirements.
  • Design and maintain test automation capabilities to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Document software defects and work closely with software teams to resolve them.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or a related field.
  • Critical problem solving and strong analytical skills.
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of SQA methodologies, tools and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or a related field.
  • Knowledgeable in numerical analysis, machine learning and software development.
  • ISTQB Certification.
