Cloud Data Engineer - Databricks with Python

This is a senior-level data engineering role that focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Delta Lake Storage, and Python/PySpark.

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development of complex ETL workflows using Python and PySpark.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud-based data platforms, data warehousing principles, and database development.
  • This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions.
About the Role:

This position involves providing expert-level support for SQL Server and database development.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal communication skills, good problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.

In addition, we are looking for someone who can develop and maintain proficiency in standard file formats and markup language technology such as JSON, XML, XSLT.

Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on cloud-based data platforms.
  • Extensive expertise in designing and implementing data load processes using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Delta Lake Storage, and Python/PySpark.
  • Proficient with Databricks & Python.
  • Senior developers with full database/datawarehouse/data mart development capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills. Good problem-solving skills. Attention to detail.
