People Operations Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to assist in our People operations.

  • This role is ideal for someone who loves making things run smoothly and believes the little details create the biggest impact.

You will be at the center of keeping our people experience seamless—from onboarding and data accuracy to office admin and cross-functional support.

  • Employee Onboarding: Assist in preparing offer letters, induction materials, and first-day experiences — making joiners feel right at home.
  • HRIS Management: Support in maintaining accurate data on various systems (attendance, leave, documents, birthdays, anniversaries).
  • Employee Exit: Help with offboarding formalities — from exit letters and documentation to collecting feedback — ensuring a respectful and smooth transition.
  • Policy Support: Help draft, update, and communicate policies in line with our culture.
  • Event & Engagement: Coordinate book clubs, tech meetups, and casual team check-ins — ensuring culture is lived, not just written.
  • Compliance & Admin: Assist in documentation, agreements, and maintaining records to keep us audit ready.
  • Pulse Checks: Collect and summarize employee feedback so we can keep improving continuously.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Hands-on experience in logistics or admin coordination.
  • Strong MS Excel/Google Sheets skills for managing data and reports.
  • Interest or coursework in People, operations, or business administration.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Learning systems and processes.
  • Shadowing onboarding and admin tasks.
  • Owning data accuracy, vendor coordination, and support events.
  • Running onboarding end-to-end, managing ops independently, and providing insights for process improvement.
