Job Title : IT Operations Support Lead

Location : Andheri East, Mumbai

Years of Experience : 10+ Years

Mandatory : Nights Shifts & 6 Days a week working onsite

EOD/BOD Job Handling and System Administration

We are seeking an experienced IT operations specialist to manage and oversee production systems during night shifts. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations and prompt response to incidents.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer Linux-based systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability.
  • Execute End-of-Day (EOD) and Beginning-of-Day (BOD) job processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Coordinate DC and DR failover activities, ensuring the availability and reliability of critical systems.
  • System patching activities, ensuring that all systems are up-to-date with the latest security and functionality updates.
  • Collaborate with different teams, including development, infrastructure, and support teams, to address and resolve production issues efficiently.
  • Prepare and share comprehensive periodic status reports detailing the performance, incidents, and improvements made during the week.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Expertise in managing Linux systems, EOD/BOD job handling, and DC/DR failover activities.
  • Knowledge of system patching processes and coordination with different teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in handling financial critical system operation for exchange, clearing corporation, or banking industry.
