Job Title:

Technical Lead - Software Development

Job Summary

As a Technical Lead in software development, you will be responsible for planning and designing new software applications. You will analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications. Your role will also involve documenting all development activity and assisting with training non-technical personnel.

Core Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements.
  2. Conduct analysis to determine integration needs and design new software applications.
  3. Support applications under development and customize current applications.
  4. Assist with the software update process for existing applications and roll-outs of software releases.
  5. Research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements.
  6. Monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products.
  7. Provide technical leadership throughout the design process and guidance with regards to practices, procedures, and techniques.
  8. Work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.
  9. Display in-depth knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills, and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty.
Required Skills and Qualifications

You will need to have good experience in User experience (UX) & design. You should have strong expertise with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ES6, Typescript. You should understand common programming paradigms and fundamental React Principles, such as components, hooks, lifecycle methodologies.

  • Strong experience with popular workflows (Redux, Redux Forms, Saga, Thunk)
  • Must have knowledge on Node.js
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs for integrations with platforms
  • Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
  • Experience with automated testing suites, like Jest
  • Maintain existing React systems, including fixing bugs
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git)
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
