The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, a thorough knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to analyze financial reports and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

● Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts

● Produce accurate and error-free accounting reports

● Analyze financial information and summarize financial status

● Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending

● Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures

● Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers

● Prepare financial statements

● Assist with tax audits and tax returns

● Plan, assign, and review staff's work

● Support month-end and year-end close process

● Develop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls

● Ensure compliance with accounting standards

Deliverables:

● Proven experience as an accountant

● Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures

● In-depth understanding of accounting standards

● Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

● Hands-on experience with accounting software packages

● Advanced MS Excel skills

Skills and Qualifications:

● Degree in Accounting or Finance

● Relevant certification (e.g., CMA or CPA)

● General computer skills

● Strong communication and presentation skills

● Must be able to demonstrate multitasking capacity

● Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
