Roles and Responsibilities

The Senior Vice President (SVP) of the Career Enhancement Cell is a highly specialized consultant role requiring collaboration with senior stakeholders across the company and beyond. The SVP will set up and run the Career Counselling function, adding value to three key parties: employees, clients, and our organization.

  • Placements Support:
    • SUPPORT EXISTING BUT OUTGOING EMPLOYEES IN FINDING ALTERNATIVE ROLES WITHIN OR OUTSIDE THE COMPANY
    • BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY RECRUITERS IN THE MARKET
    • MANAGE EMPLOYEES' CAREER PLANS ALONGSIDE COUNSELLING ARM
    • TRACK AND MANAGE RELATIONSHIP WITH OUR FORMER EMPLOYEES
    • DESIGN, IMPLEMENT, MONITOR, AND IMPROVE FRAMEWORKS, PROCESSES, AND TEAM FOR THESE TASKS
  • Employee Mobility Support:
    • DEVELOP A FRAMEWORK FOR PROCESSING SECONDMENT REQUIREMENTS FROM CLIENTS
    • UNDERSTAND IMMIGRATION LAWS OF KEY WESTERN MARKETS (US AND UK) AND DESIGN AN APPROACH TO OBTAINING NECESSARY VISAS FOR EMPLOYEES
    • COLLABORATE WITH CLIENTS, IMMIGRATION ATTORNEYS, SECONDMENT CANDIDATES, AND THEIR MANAGERS
Prerequisites
  • A minimum of 15-18 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Dominant expertise in:
    • RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY RECRUITERS IN THE MARKET FOR HIGH CALIBER TALENT (FINANCIAL SERVICES, CONSULTING, AND SIMILAR)
    • EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH GLOBAL IMMIGRATION AGENCIES AND RESOLVING EMPLOYEE MOBILITY CHALLENGES
  • Good emotional intelligence, empathy, and ability to build relationships
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Effective team management and organizational skills
  • Strong business acumen, including strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in any field, preferably in HR or Management
