Software Development Lead Job Description

Job Overview:

This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the development of software systems and managing project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and configure software systems to meet client requirements.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to support project goals and enhance product functionality and performance.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in software development and Siemens Teamcenter.
  • Provide strategic guidance and advisory support for key team decisions and project directions.
  • Engage with multiple teams to solve complex problems affecting various groups.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities and promote a collaborative environment.
  • Mentor junior professionals to support their skill development and career growth.
  • Apply best practices in software development methodologies, configuration management, and integration processes related to product lifecycle management.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues to ensure smooth project delivery.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Siemens Teamcenter.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with software configuration management tools.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues.
  • Familiarity with integration processes and tools related to product lifecycle management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter.
  • Position based at Chennai office.
  • 15 years full-time education is required.
