Hoovu Fresh is a rapidly scaling business in the floral and fast-moving consumer goods space, focused on delivering freshness through innovation. To strengthen our finance team, we are seeking an experienced Accounting Operations Specialist who can take full ownership of accounting operations, compliance, and reporting.
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities – general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, vendor/customer ledgers;
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, billing, and reconciliations;
- Ensure timely monthly closures (Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow);
- Manage statutory compliance – Goods and Services Tax, Tax Deducted at Source, Provident Fund, Employees’ State Insurance filings;
- Support audits with schedules and documentation;
- Generate Management Information System reports and provide insights on expenses, collections, and cash flow;
- Implement internal controls and process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting;
- 5–7 years’ experience in accounting, with strong knowledge of Goods and Services Tax and Tax Deducted at Source;
- Experience with Zoho Books or similar systems;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
- Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently.
