Cloud Infrastructure Administrator

At our organization, we're seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud architectures on AWS.
  • Develop and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery solutions using backup software like Veeam, AWS Snapshots, Commvault, and Backup Exec.
  • Monitor and administer AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.
  • Oversee automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud and on-premises resources.
  • Analyze system performance, identify trends, and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience administering Okta.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.

About the Role:

This role requires a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch is essential. Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation is also required. In addition, the successful candidate must have proven hands-on experience supporting the Okta SSO Platform and solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies.
