As a senior technical leader, you will be responsible for designing and architecting scalable healthcare claims processing systems that handle millions of transactions.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership:
  • Develop system architecture for high-performance healthcare claims processing.
  • Lead technical decision-making for complex healthcare workflows.
  • Ensure system reliability, performance, and security meet compliance standards.
  • Drive technical strategy for claims adjudication, provider networks, and member management.
  • Collaborate with architects on system integration patterns and data flow optimization.
People Management:
  • Build and lead teams of software engineers across multiple product areas.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, career development planning, and mentorship.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and technical excellence.
  • Recruit top engineering talent and build diverse, inclusive teams.
  • Manage team capacity, sprint planning, and delivery commitments.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Partner with Product, Data, and Operations teams on feature planning and delivery.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implementation roadmaps.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and delivery processes.
RequirementsRequired Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience with 1+ years in technical leadership.
  • Strong system design experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
  • Hands-on coding experience with real-time processing systems and high-volume transaction processing.
  • Track record of successful large-scale system migrations or platform modernizations.
  • Proven track record of scaling technical teams and managing technical talent.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), databases, and modern engineering practices.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and continuous integration/deployment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR).
  • Knowledge of healthcare claims workflows and adjudication processes.
  • Experience with healthcare systems, claims processing, or similar regulated industries.
