Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead our data science team and drive business growth through strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and deep learning. They should be able to manage projects, build analytics models, and communicate complex findings to diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement statistical techniques, algorithms, and machine learning/deep learning models to create new, scalable solutions addressing business challenges across industries.
  • Define, develop, maintain, and evolve data models, tools, and capabilities.
  • Communicate findings to the appropriate teams through visualizations.
  • Collaborate and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Develop solutions for object detection/image recognition, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, topic modeling, concept extraction, recommender systems, text classification, clustering, customer segmentation/targeting, propensity modeling, churn modeling, lifetime value estimation, forecasting, and marketing mix optimization.
  • Ability to build, train, and lead a team of data scientists.
  • Follow/maintain an agile methodology for delivering project milestones.
  • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Experience applying statistical ideas and methods to data sets to answer business problems.
  • Mine and analyze data to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. degree in math, computer science, information systems, machine learning, statistics, applied mathematics, or related technical degrees.
  • At least 6 years of total experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a related position as a data scientist or business analyst building computer vision, NLP, and predictive analytics solutions for various business problems.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch.
  • Programming background and expertise in building models using at least one of the following languages: Python, R, C, C++.
  • Strong individual planning and project management skills, able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Self-motivated and driven to deliver agreed results on-time.
  • Ability to convert analytical output into clear, concise, and persuasive insights/recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong influence and relationship management skills.
