About This Role:

This position entails serving as a key figure in our indirect tax team, spearheading GST compliance, advisory services, and strategic planning for clients. Responsibilities will encompass GST audits, compliance, advisory work, and fostering robust client relationships to deliver exceptional value.

Key Responsibilities:
  • GST Compliance & Filing:
  • Ensure timely compliance with GST filings, assessments, and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare, file, and process GST returns and refunds accurately.
  • Advisory & Consulting:
  • Provide GST advisory services across industries, addressing technical queries and compliance challenges.
  • Assist in the implementation of GST strategies to optimize tax incidence and cash flow benefits.
  • Audits & Assessments:
  • Conduct GST audits and support internal and external audits.
  • Handle GST-related audits, investigations, and liaise with tax authorities.
  • Research & Analysis:
  • Perform in-depth research on GST laws and regulations to provide strategic insights.
  • Benchmark GST practices against industry standards to recommend improvements.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for seamless GST compliance and reporting.
  • Address queries related to GST returns and coordinate with relevant departments.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in GST processes and compliance practices.
  • Support business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) with 2-5 years of experience in Indirect Taxation.
  • Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive collaborative success.
