Indirect Tax Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Indirect Tax Executive. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of GST compliance and financial reporting.
The primary responsibilities of this position include preparing and filing monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9), reconciling GSTR 2A/2B with purchase records and coordinating with vendors for mismatches, handling Input Tax Credit (ITC) calculations and utilization, managing and recording daily accounting transactions in Tally or other ERP software, maintaining records of sales, purchases, and expenses with proper documentation, coordinating with CA/auditor for tax audits and assessments, generating reports for internal use – P&L, balance sheet, TDS summaries, etc., ensuring timely payment of GST, TDS, and professional tax, and liaising with vendors, customers, and government authorities regarding tax queries.
Qualifications & Skills- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in accounting with a focus on GST filing and reconciliation
- Proficient in Tally ERP, Excel, and basic MS Office tools
- Strong knowledge of Indian GST laws, ITC rules, and deadlines
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
