We are seeking a seasoned Full Stack Engineer to join our office.

The chosen individual will play a vital role in shaping the rapidly growing technology proposition and be responsible for technical seniority, supporting consulting projects, identifying and advising on suitable solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver high-quality digital solutions following best practices while helping to define coding standards and team conventions.

• Advocate for developer experience and have a keen interest in continually improving it.

• Encourage a blameless culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

• Lead and influence the technical design, architecture, and development of digital projects.

• Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Engineering Leads, and Product Managers to understand problems and define technical scope for global sports properties.

• Establish software development frameworks for release management, automation, code quality, and source control.

• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to other engineers.

• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends in sports technology.

Requirements:

• 7-9 years of relevant experience in software engineering.

• High proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js, with experience in Node.js desirable.

• Experience in a CI/CD environment, utilizing tools such as Circle CI, GitHub actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Appreciation of DevOps and platform engineering culture.

• Strong understanding of agile development practices, continuous integration, and test automation via various methods.

• Experience in observing application performance and health using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Data Dog, Sentry, etc.

• Strong desire for performant applications and proactive problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with others.

• Desirable experience building services for high-traffic systems.
