Job Title

Achieve Success as a Software Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Ensure project milestones are met by prioritizing tasks, managing time effectively, and maintaining open communication with stakeholders.
  • Design, develop, and implement software components using microservices architecture and cross-platform technologies.
  • Implement features using Agile methodologies and tools.
  • Participate in an integrated DevOps team, taking ownership of the overall setup and ensuring seamless deployment.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues raised by customers and support teams, applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for algorithm development, back-end automation, and scalability architecture.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development within large-scale production environments.
  • Proficiency in modern technologies including JavaScript, Node.js, Express, Restify, Swagger, Docker, Mocha, Testdouble, Supertest, Chai, Grunt, JSDoc, JSHint, and Git.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, continuous integration, and continuous deployment on AWS cloud with ElasticBeanstalk, Docker, Kubernetes, Quickbuild, Jenkins, and other related technologies.
  • Familiarity with AWS services such as ElasticBeanstalk, EC2, DynamoDB, ASG, ELB, ECR, ECS, S3, Cloudfront, Lambda, Cloudwatch, and IAM.
  • Strong understanding of databases, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical ideas effectively, both written and verbally.
  • Proficient in Linux systems and able to debug unfamiliar distributed architectures.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

  • Solve problems efficiently in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex technical information.
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience with AWS development.
  • Strong ability to deliver and receive feedback on code and design.
  • Strong experience working in Linux systems.
  • Strong ability to debug unfamiliar distributed architectures and isolate problems.
