**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Technical Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our technical operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day technical activities and ensuring the seaworthiness of our vessels.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Oversee the implementation of maintenance schedules and ensure that all vessel repairs are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Monitor vessel performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing cost-saving measures where possible.
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including ISM, ISPS, MARPOL, SOLAS, and flag state requirements.
  4. Coordinate with the procurement department to source spare parts and equipment at the most competitive prices.
  5. Develop and implement effective procedures for managing dry-docking, repairs, and other major technical projects.

**Requirements:**

  • 10-12 years of experience in the shipping industry, with a minimum of 2 years as a Chief Engineer.
  • Preferably 2 years of shore experience as a Superintendent.
  • Strong understanding of TMSA and Rightship requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
