Production Supervisor Job Summary

Oversee daily production operations in composite manufacturing, leading a team to achieve quality and safety standards.

  • Supervise shop-floor activities on Pultrusion and molding lines (SMC, DMC, BMC, Hand Lay-up).
  • Ensure production compliance with schedules, SOPs, and quality standards.
  • Monitor and control production parameters – resin mixing, mold preparation, curing, trimming, and finishing.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with QA/QC department for in-process quality checks and corrective actions.
  • Maintain production records, logbooks, and shift reports.
  • Train workers/operators to ensure operational efficiency and safety.

Requirements:

  • Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Mechanical, Polymer, or Production Engineering.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in FRP manufacturing processes – specifically Pultrusion, SMC, DMC, BMC, and Hand Lay-up.
  • Technical understanding of composite manufacturing.
  • Team handling and shift supervision.
  • Problem-solving and process monitoring.
