Job Overview

The Solution Architect is accountable for collaborating with stakeholders to define, deliver and support IT enabled business solutions.

This role will also help determine business needs and design technical solutions for Operations, Supply Chain and Sourcing functions.

The Solution Architect has primary accountability for the delivery of services including project delivery, system configuration and enhancement, and production support in alignment with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for assisting the design and implementation of an SAP QM solution-delivery of project deliverables including blueprints, functional and technical specifications, system configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
  2. Support key Business and IT stakeholders to outline the global design of Transportation Management and delivery of the design globally across multiple ERP systems.
  3. With guidance, design and build interfaces in SAP QM areas.
  4. Providing support and maintenance in relevant interfaces.
  5. Collaborate with other Logistics and Finance SAP Solution Architects to design and deliver integrated solutions in SAP systems.
  6. Utilize specialized expertise in the area to collaborate with Quality, PM, Operations, Supply Chain and the Manufacturing Sites to define detailed user stories for IT enablement of business needs.
  7. Interpret issues and recommend solutions or best practices.
  8. Essential core member of agile sprint teams, configure and develop optimal technical solutions features.
  9. Provide technical delivery of functionality to meet defined business requirements as described in user stories.
  10. Provide system support and maintenance in alignment with standards and process set within the ERP Services Delivery model.
  11. Work within and participates in the Change Control process.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
