AI Accounting Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled AI accounting automation specialist to join our team. As an AI accounting automation specialist, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing AI solutions to improve accounting, tax, and audit workflows.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have 3+ years of experience in AI/ML development and implementation, preferably in the accounting industry. You will be responsible for collaborating with leadership and functional teams to identify areas for improvement, designing and developing AI solutions, training and fine-tuning machine learning models, and integrating AI tools with existing software platforms.

You will also lead training sessions and workshops for staff on the use of new AI tools and workflows, monitor AI system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend enhancements.

In addition, you will stay abreast of emerging AI technology trends, especially those relevant to accounting and finance, and document processes, model parameters, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in AI/ML development and implementation—accounting industry experience highly preferred.
  • Proficient in machine learning frameworks.
  • Experience with natural language processing, OCR, and RPA tools.
  • Familiarity with common accounting platforms and their APIs is an advantage.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Proven project management and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Attributes
  • Experience in tax, accounting, or audit process automation.
  • Certifications in AI/ML or data science.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations.
  • Prior experience in an outsourced environment.
