Cloud Integration Data Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned professional to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with data integration, particularly with AWS services (S3, Redshift, Glue) and SAP systems. A strong background in data governance and automation is essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing data lake and warehouse solutions on Azure platform
  • Establishing data governance frameworks and ensuring data quality across all pipelines
  • Implementing security best practices for handling sensitive pharmaceutical data
  • Creating and maintaining data documentation and lineage tracking

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering
  • Expert-level knowledge of Azure Data Services, including Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Data Lake Storage
  • Strong understanding of database technologies, including relational and NoSQL databases
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark, and PowerShell for data automation and wrangling
  • Hands-on experience with SAP data models and integrating SAP data with Azure data lake
