Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Façade Access Consultant to provide expert advice and design services on complex projects. Our team offers support of the highest calibre to prestigious and challenging single or multi-disciplinary projects around the world.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience advising on façade access systems, preparing strategy reports, and ensuring compliance with specifications and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising the wider design team on integrating façade access systems into project designs.
  • Leading the design to achieve optimal cost, aesthetic impact, and functionality while following best health and safety practices.
  • Preparing façade access strategy reports at key stages of project design.
  • Preparing Employer's Requirements Documentation and System Specifications for façade access and façade replacement systems at the end of the design stage.
  • Reviewing contractor drawings and inspecting site throughout the construction process to ensure compliance with specifications, design intent, and relevant legislation.
  • Managing multiple façade access consulting projects simultaneously and working directly with clients.
  • Conducting research on industry trends and currently available technologies used in façade access.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Experience working with façade access systems, either within a consultancy or from a contractor's role.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of façade access systems, their performance, operation, as well as current engineering standards, practices, regulations, and legislation.
  • Being an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a relevant academic background.
  • Being competent in AutoCAD and/or Revit and 3D design software.
