Software Engineering Professional

Job Role Summary:

Carnot Technologies is seeking a skilled software engineer to design, develop, and scale our internal CMS platform. The successful candidate will lead system architecture and ensure high-performing backend services.

  • The ideal candidate will work on IoT device management systems, ticketing tools, user portals, and data pipelines.
  • They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize feature development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design scalable, high-performance systems using Python and relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL).
  • Develop and deploy cloud-based solutions using AWS ECS, compute servers, and Serverless Architectures (AWS Lambda, Fargate).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python programming language.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL) and data storage models.
  • Experience with key-value stores (Redis / Memcached) and their trade-offs.
  • Familiarity with cloud deployments (AWS ECS, compute servers) and DevOps practices.
  • Ability to design and implement scalable, high-performance systems.
