Software Development Lead Position

The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong understanding of software development principles and practices.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of complex software applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to software development teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs.
  • Code Review and Quality Assurance: Ensure code quality, readability, and adherence to best practices through regular code reviews and unit testing.
  • Team Management: Guide team members in adopting best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps, identifying bottlenecks and bugs, and devising solutions to mitigate and address them.
  • Innovation and Advancement: Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advocate for best engineering practices, ensuring technical documentation and architectural diagrams are well maintained.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in PHP, Python, JavaScript (ES6+), and CodeIgniter.
  • Database Management: Experience working with MySQL databases, including designing, optimizing, and managing.
  • API Integration: Experience working with RESTful APIs for both consuming and creating endpoints.
  • Performance Optimization: Understanding of performance tuning on both frontend and backend.
  • Version Control: Proficient with Git for version control, branching, and collaborative development.
