Product Launch Director

Lead the successful introduction of new products to market by coordinating all stages from concept to launch.

Develop clear program governance, stage-gate reviews, and risk management frameworks to ensure timely execution.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, design, sourcing, manufacturing, quality, service, and marketing to achieve shared goals.

Ensure Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA) and DFX principles are integrated early in the design stage to optimize production processes.

Oversee prototyping, pilot builds, and validation testing to guarantee performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Work closely with manufacturing teams to establish production readiness, including process validation, line setup, and yield improvement.

Drive cost optimization through value engineering and supplier development initiatives.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Proven program management skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.

Deep understanding of appliance product development, preferably in water purifiers/home appliances/consumer electronics.

Knowledge of plastic parts, filtration technologies, electronics integration, pumps/valves, and assembly processes.

Hands-on experience in DFMA, validation testing, and regulatory certifications (e.g. ROHS, ISI, BIS, NSF).

Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.

Strong communication and documentation skills.
