About the Mechanical Engineering Internship

This role is best suited for candidates who enjoy working with tools, building prototypes, and solving real-world mechanical challenges.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the assembly and fabrication of mechanical parts and systems, following technical drawings and instructions for precise builds, supporting in troubleshooting mechanical issues during prototyping, and handling tools and workshop equipment safely and efficiently.

The intern will work closely with our team to develop skills in mechanical assembly and fabrication, contributing to prototype development and quality checks, supporting in 3D CAD work and documentation where needed, and procuring local components necessary for mechanical assembly and prototyping.

Requirements:
  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Eagerness to engage in hands-on tasks—fabrication, assembly, and testing.
  • Understanding of mechanical components and how things fit together.
  • Ability to follow instructions and stay detail-oriented during builds.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with fabrication tools.
  • Exposure to workshop practices.
  • Eagerness to learn and take initiative in solving practical problems.
