Mechanical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to fill a key role within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and update components specification sheets
  • Design and create part/assembly 3D CAD models
  • Prepare part/assembly drawings according to standard procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ECN and ECO activities
  • Participate in design reviews and optimization activities

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles and experience working with SolidWorks. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an agile environment are essential for this role.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or mechatronics engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Ability to work with US-based timings
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks
  • Knowledge of sheet metals, machined parts, and plastic materials
  • Understanding of various manufacturing processes
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Desirable Skills:
  • Basic understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack up
  • Knowledge of FMEA
  • Experience with design life cycle management tools like Windchill/PLM
