Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Data Architect to design and maintain scalable, high-performance data models using Salesforce standard and custom objects.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and implement scalable, high-performance data models using Salesforce standard and custom objects.
  • Define and enforce data architecture standards, naming conventions, and metadata management practices.
  • Develop entity-relationship diagrams and data flow diagrams to support solution design.

Integration & Migration :

  • Lead data integration efforts using APIs, ETL tools, and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft).
  • Plan and execute data migration strategies for Salesforce. Design and implement secure, scalable data pipelines between Salesforce and external systems (ERP, marketing, analytics).
  • Define and implement data migration strategies including data cleansing, deduplication, and transformation.
  • Ensure data synchronization across systems using batch and real-time integration patterns.

Collaboration & Strategy :

  • Partner with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical data solutions.
  • Provide architectural guidance during Salesforce implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Participate in enterprise architecture reviews and contribute to long-term data strategy.
  • Advocate for data-driven decision-making and promote data literacy across teams.

Performance & Compliance :

  • Monitor and optimize data performance, storage usage, and API limits within Salesforce.
  • Implement data retention, archival, and purging strategies to manage data lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments related to data access and usage.

Documentation & Training :

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including data dictionaries, integration maps, and architecture diagrams.
  • Develop training materials and conduct workshops for technical and non-technical users.
  • Support onboarding of new team members and provide mentorship to junior architects or developers.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in data architecture, with 2+ years in Salesforce environments.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, and Salesforce Platform.
  • Strong demonstrable knowledge of Apex, SOQL, REST/SOAP APIs, and ETL tools.
  • Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Certified Data Architect, Certified Application Architect, and Certified Integration Architecture Designer.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science, Business Information Technology).
  • Background in enterprise-scale CRM Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
